Tyāgeśa Tāṇḍava Vaibhavam by Meenakshi Narayan | Medai - The Stage, Bengaluru

Tyāgeśa Tāṇḍava Vaibhavam is a solo Bharatanatyam presentation by Meenakshi Narayan, disciple of Vid. Indira Vijay, presented as part of the Medai + Ameya Youth Dance Festival — UTSAVA! at The Medai Stage in Bengaluru. Titled “Celebrating the Divine Grandeur of the Cosmic Dance,” the performance explores the devotion and divine splendour associated with Lord Shiva and his cosmic Tāṇḍava.

The thematic dance presentation explores love, longing and devotion through the journey of a nāyikā who longs for Shiva, admires his dance and celebrates his divine presence despite being unable to behold him. Drawing on the sacred tradition of Pradosha worship, the performance culminates in a Tāṇḍava that expresses the grandeur, rhythm and spiritual fervour associated with Shiva’s worship. The presentation celebrates the connection between devotional traditions, music, dance and festivals.

The event is presented by Medai in collaboration with Ameya. It takes place on Friday, 6 November 2026, at The Medai Stage, Museum Road, opposite St. Patrick’s Church, Shanthala Nagar, Richmond Town, Bengaluru, Karnataka. Tickets are available through Ticket9.
