Kinusaiga Art Workshop | Hanami, Trivandrum

Kinusaiga Art Workshop is a one-day art workshop presented by Lavender Art & Craft Academy in collaboration with Hanami. The workshop introduces participants to Kinusaiga, a traditional Japanese art form that involves pressing pieces of fabric into grooves carved into a wooden board to create a picture.

Participants will learn a unique Japanese craft technique that requires no glue, no sewing, and no prior experience. The workshop focuses on creativity and sustainable art by reusing leftover fabric scraps to create an individual artwork that participants can take home and frame.
